Irish, idiosyncratic and often in your face, Liz Barron lives in the Blarney Abode, Itchy Ankle, Chesapeake Bay, Maryland, USA. Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, she has family in the UK and Ireland and two young adult children who are American through and through. She is fortunate in her friends. Her correspondence with Doris Brazil, an elderly retailer in the South of England, has propelled this blog to readership unimagined by either lady writer.
