Without spot or blemish

There’s a reason why the Crone usually opts for patterns. Camouflaged in plaid or paisley, stains can’t see her coming. Venture out in something plain, pressed and pristine  and she immediately risks ambush. Today it was overflow from an iced skinny latte—a vicious assault that quite ruined her day (and her beautiful pea green boat-neck, dry clean only natch.) Still, look on the bright side. Since the coffee made it to her stomach only via her shirt, the Crone was able to indulge in other dairy treats: a small bowl of Go Lean Crunch with fat free milk, and a Light N Fit yoghurt. 300 blissful calories, total. Add to that a Quaker oat and raisin bar (90), a pear (50), the ubiquitous black bean hummus and a dozen little carrots (let’s call it 250), a banana (80) –and whatever delights tonight’s left over 230 calories can offer and you are looking at a high-performer in GWUWMP (not a lexulous hand, but a weight loss program.) Unless of course the Crone cracks before bedtime, binges, and ends the evening curled in a corner, licking her placket.
