I had it just a minute ago…

Since arriving in Boston, I have left my cardie behind twice, and my wallet in my room once–something I didn’t discover until I finished a $25 cab journey. Luckily, the driver, Rafi, was very understanding. He came back and picked me up after lunch, and I paid him for both journeys when we got back to the hotel. As previously reported, I also mislaid both my iphone and my laptop on the way to Boston. All items have been safely returned to me thanks to the kindly and honest nature of New England residents and travelers. But it makes me wonder how I’ll cope if I live long enough to be a little old lady. Memory–without it, you have nothing.
