Only in DC

Hansel visited the Department of Motor Vehicles in downtown DC this week, because he needed a new ID card. Any visit to the DMV lasts at least two hours and so there is plenty of time for people-watching. A young woman sitting close to Hansel reached the top of the line to renew her drivers license. Invited to look into the web cam, she calmly took her hot comb out of her purse, plugged it in and did not smile for the DMV until she had her hair did.
