Ironing and the Irishman

Spud Hughes is back in town. He arrived at the DC apartment tonight wearing his best brown irish linen suit. ” I wore it here on the plane because I’ll need it next week and I didn’t want to get it crushed by folding it in the suitcase” he explained.

I averted my gaze while he disrobed and then picked up the travel-stained two piece and took it to the dry cleaners, from where we will pick it up all pressed and clean on Monday night.
