Troubled Heart? God is here…

Lancaster County may be the right place to be should the world end tonight. First of all, there is a chance that I may get swept up in a rising of the faithful, mixed in with Mennonites, Lutherans and others whose homes boast signs saying “Troubled Heart? God is here…” If I can’t hitch a ride for the Rapture there could be worse places to be stranded for all eternity, for this part of the earth is very heaven.

Not only are there green fields, dairies of distinction and a seemingly endless supply of quality  eggs and home grown produce, there are many, many junk stores.

I drove along sun-dappled roads this morning to Columbia PA and came home with 3 pairs of curtains to add finishing touches to a house I do not yet (and may never) own. Tomorrow after the wedding breakfast it is off to Adamstown PA.
