Gretel is feeling very glum because I am making her swap bedrooms with me. Her’s is the only room in the house with a built-in closet. It is wasted on her, because she keeps all her clothes tangled in her bed or strewn on the floor. The standalone wardrobe in my room is useless. It’s not long enough to hang dresses and barely works for jackets. I am tired of having wire hangers hooked over window latches and door frames: Gretel has to go.
The Handsome Prince was listening to her moan and wail and was trying to be sympathetic “It sucks” he said “The first time it happens it really hurts, but you’ll get used to it”.
The HP is a middle child. He barely has time to dent a hollow in his mattress or put a dirty mark on the wall before his mother has him on the move. His equanimity makes him a great match for Gretel, who was born to the the baby in any family.
