Christmas Greetings from the Blarney Band

Quite my favorite Christmas card of the season was handmade by my Belfast aunt. She hand-stitched candles, holly leaves, berries and flames on to some beautiful rugged paper using glittering thread, and tiny beads. Inside, my Uncle hand wrote a very touching message. Truly thoughtful and much appreciated.My sister also handmade her card, using a picture of a market stall loaded with Florida oranges she took when we were in Miami. I like to think of myself as her muse.

I didn’t send any cards, but hope you may like our holiday video below, inspired by Valerie who thought of it first. Just click here to see it. Something went a bit wrong with the placing of Gretel’s grin, but other than that, we are quietly pleased.
